Especially the new countries of the European Union have a great challenge and chance and this conference will help them understand the needs better.”

Born in Salzburg in 1961. Law studies in Salzburg, Vienna and London. After working with the Salzburg Provincial Government (National Park Hohe Tauern), the European Federation for Nature and National Parks (Germany) joined the Parlamentary Club of the Liberale Forum as club consultant. Adviser to Dr.Heide Schmidt in questions of law and constitution, afterwards office manager at the European Parlament, later at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Ministry Dr.Schüssel, Presidency of the OSCE - Balkan Desk, the same position also with foreign minister Dr.Ferrero-Waldner, followed by a year in Kosovo as deputy head of the Democratisation Department of the OSCE, finally three years partner in a Public Affairs Agency in Vienna and since October 2004 self-employed. Since January 2005 leader of Task Group 6 „Implementation and Communication" within the ISO 26 000 Working Group, and Chairman of Austrian standardization committee 251 "CSR" in the Austrian Standardization Institute (ON). He is co-author of the CSR guide of the Austrian Standardization Institute, which in the meantime has been translated into seven languages and is co-publisher of the first book on CSR in German.

Mag Neureiter is a member of the CSR expert group in the WKO (Chamber of Commerce Austria) ) and expert within the working group CSR of the PRVA (Public Relationsassociation Austria). For the GPA ( trade union)) he created the "Social Responsibility Manager of the Year" award, which was presented for the first time in Parlament in 2005. He holds classes at FH Bfi, at the Advanced Technical College for European Economy and Management, at the University of Vienna and is guest lecturer at the Catholic University Eichstatt/Germany.

Mag.Neureiter is chairman of the Centre for Corporate Citizenship Austria (www.corporatecitizen.at), an organization concentrating on the analysis of the role of enterprises within civil society. He is also the co-ordinator of the Boston College Centre for Corporate Citizenship in Europe.He is also organizer of the first Austrian CSR-Ranking published in 2005 and just recently again under the promotion of the Austrian Vice Chancelor".
